The STI Masterclass

There is both a live component and recorded pieces. The recorded pieces are self-paced, and the live component is optional. Each week, recorded modules will be sent out where Jenelle reviews the instructional material (think of that piece like a lecture in a college course). During the pre-recorded videos, Jenelle offers suggestions around how to complete that week’s steps, while also sharing personal anecdotes from her experience in the process and more importantly, others’ experiences who’ve walked through the lessons and activities (think of that piece like homework). There will also be a live Q&A with Jenelle and Masterclass participants through Zoom, occurring every other Thursday at 12pm EST. For those who are unable to attend the live Q&A, they will be recorded and sent out as an optional component for participants to review on Fridays.

Participating in the Masterclass guarantees a lifetime membership to an exclusive and private group of Masterclass participants. This is not a Facebook group, because Facebook does not provide the level of safety that we feel is most conducive to your success, but if you are familiar with Facebook groups, it will operate and feel similar. Each week, Jenelle will offer the group discussion prompts, but this is meant as a casual space that allows members to share their progress as they feel comfortable and to network with others (with a strict boundaries to maintain privacy and safety). As the Masterclass continues, the group will expand, and the ongoing discussion will help those who get stuck or feel they may have regressed. We ensure there is ongoing support for as long as members choose to remain in the group!

Participation in all Masterclass components are optional, but the more committed and engaged someone is in the components that are offered throughout those 8 weeks, the more rewarding and transformative the experience! Regardless of participation level, though, everyone will come out of the course with a completely new perspective.

After the Masterclass’ initial launch on July 1st, 2020, there will be a rolling enrollment, which means participants will have an opportunity to both learn from and support others who are navigating through the coursework. If you are enrolling after July 1st, some members will be ahead of, at the same place as, or behind you. This rolling enrollment also ensures the private community always offers something of value to every participant!

The time commitment is from 2-4 hrs each week, depending on how involved you choose to be – technically, all components are optional, but we wouldn’t encourage enrollment until you were able to commit to a minimum of 2hrs each week. The course is 8 weeks long, the content is dripped over those 8 weeks, and there are a few components: a weekly pre-recorded video 45-60min (like a lecture), weekly workbook/PPT/activities (like homework) 45-60min, bi-weekly live Q&A (like a professor’s office hours) 60min, and a private online community (like a message board) 45-60min.
